SHIMLA: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu congratulated the Himachali community in Canada for hosting the second annual Dussehra celebration at Parliament Hill, Ottawa.

 In a video message, he called the diaspora the "true Brand Ambassadors" of Himachal Pradesh for preserving their cultural roots abroad.

Sukhu urged the community to contribute to Himachal's goal of becoming a "Green Energy State" by 2026, stressing their role in driving sustainability and economic growth.

The event featured traditional Naati dance, Ram Leela, Pahari songs, and a Himachali ‘Dham,’ evoking pride among attendees. Canadian MP Chandra Arya praised the cultural unity fostered by the celebration.
