SHIMLA - In a special event held at SJVN Corporate Head Quarters here, Director (Personnel) Smt. Geeta Kapur administered an oath of Environment Conservation to all employees. The occasion marked the celebration of World Environment Day, with the theme "Solutions to Plastic Pollution."
Smt. Geeta Kapur highlighted SJVN's ongoing efforts to preserve nature and safeguard the environment.
She stressed the importance of individual and collective contributions towards a sustainable future.
SJVN organized various competitions among its employees, including tree nurturing, photography, milk pouch collection, and best out of waste. Painting and essay writing competitions were also held in local schools as part of the celebrations. Winners were awarded prizes by Smt. Geeta Kapur.
SJVN extended its World Environment Day celebrations to its offices and projects across India.
