Shimla:In a proactive move, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri engaged in a direct dialogue with the public during a government event at Sarkaghat, Mandi district.
The program, held at Sarkar Gaon, focused on addressing local issues, with Agnihotri personally tackling approximately 135 proposals and public concerns on the spot.
The majority of the applications discussed were related to developmental demands. Agnihotri assured each individual of addressing their concerns and expressed confidence in fulfilling every possible demand.
The event encompassed 16 panchayats of the Bhadrota region, including Bhadravard, Samsauh, Rakhot, Gaunta, Thona, Jamni, Gahar, Tikkar, Rissa, Pingla, Chalhog, Khahan, Maseran, Baag, Chauri, and Kas.
Emphasizing the commitment of the Congress government, Agnihotri stated that every promise made to the public would be honored.
The assurance extended to fulfilling the pledge of providing ₹1500 to women. Acknowledging the challenges posed by recent natural disasters in the state, he highlighted the ₹4500 crore disaster relief package issued by the Congress government to aid the affected residents.
Before the public interaction, the Deputy Chief Minister and the Member of Parliament performed a ceremonial worship at the renowned Nabahi Mata Temple in Sarkaghat, extending wishes for the well-being, peace, and prosperity of the state's residents.
