Bamta(Chopal): Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh addressed public concerns during the 'Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar' program in Bamta Panchayat, Chopal sub-division.

As many as 68 complaints came up for action before the PWD Minister. 

Former Pradhan Yogesh Azta fervently took up the issue of PHC and water scheme lingering in Deot panchayat for the last more than 10 years.

There were others who took up the issues of lack of HRTC bus service, lack of health facilities, poor roads and others issues.

 Resolving 68 issues, Singh provided on-the-spot solutions and instructed officials for pending matters. Emphasizing collective efforts for Himachal Pradesh's progress, he highlighted the state government's initiatives, including the Rs 680 crore Rajiv Gandhi Startup Scheme and a Rs 200 crore solar energy project.

Singh pledged focus on road development, prioritizing the Matal to Bamta route, and assured efforts for a stadium near Banta School.

A survey for Bamta to Khadapathar road is underway. Singh also distributed certificates and performed welfare activities, acknowledging the work of various departments.

The event featured a drama on drug prevention and exhibitions by different departments.

Singh interacted with beneficiaries and inspected the displays. Congress leader Rajneesh Kimta took a potshot at  Chopal BJP MLA Balbir Verma.

Vikramaditya Singh also  laid the foundation stone of the upgradation work of Dhabas to Sarahan road. 

This road will be constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana with an amount of more than Rs 6 crore 86 lakh and tenders have been invited for this work, he  said. 

The Deputy Commissioner, Aditya Negi Superintendent of Police, and other officials attended the program.
