Shimla: In a turn of events in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh has reportedly offered his resignation today to Congress Highcommand. HP Vidhan Sabha Speaker has suspended 15 BJP MLAs from House  amidst a raging political storm triggered by the defeat of Rajya Sabha candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

The stunning crisis engulfing the ruling Congress has thrown the state into turmoil, with uncertainty looming large over its political destiny.

As soon as six Congress rebel  MLAs entered Vidhan Sabha gate the congress workers stopped their vehicles creating a scene.

They came   back from Panchkula to attend the session which was already surcharged with tension.

Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur claimed CM has tendered resignation to the party high command.

Meanwhile as many as 15 BJP MLAs out of 25,  including Jai Ram Thakur have been suspended by the Speaker from House for their conduct in the house.  Many suspended MLAs created a scene in Vidhan sabha as they refused to leave the House.

Congress spokesperson has denied that Sukhu has offered resignation to the party high command.

All the reports of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu that he has offered resignation are false and baseless.

Sources reveal that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu's offer to resignation to High Command  comes in the wake of intense debate and scrutiny following the unexpected defeat of Abhishek Manu Singhvi in the Rajya Sabha elections.

The atmosphere is fraught with tension as questions swirl around the leadership's ability to navigate the turbulent waters of state politics as Congress has failed to win over the confidence of its own MLAs.

This bombshell development follows swiftly on the heels of Vikramaditya Singh, the Public Works Department Minister, tendering his resignation earlier.

But efforts are on to placate him as Vikramaditya Singh is still inside the Vidhan Sabha. He was accompanied by Rohru MLA Mohan Lal Brakta and Rampur MLA NandLal.

Singh's decision  was attributed to his dissatisfaction with his own government's refusal to allocate land for the installation of a statue honoring Virbhadra Singh on Ridge.

Meanwhile Congress high level team is about to reach Shimla to mitigate the crisis in the ruling Congress to placate the disgruntled MLAs who crossvoted.
