Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the up-gradation of Sunni Hospital to a 100-bed facility.

He laid foundation stones for 18 development projects worth Rs. 174 crore in the Shimla Rural Assembly segment.

These projects include roads, irrigation schemes, and educational institutions.

Sukhu also emphasized the state's commitment to protecting its resources and issued notices to the SJVNL for projects that began without signed implementation agreements.

He mentioned a special package for disaster-affected people, increasing compensation for damaged houses, providing free utilities, and assistance to families in relief camps.

The Chief Minister highlighted the state's focus on quality education and healthcare services, opening government boarding schools and initiating economic reforms.

He commended the local support and involvement of residents in contributing to the Aapda Rahat Kosh.
