Shimla: In a strategic move aimed at enhancing synergy between the Congress party and the government, the Congress high command has formed a coordination committee comprising six members, with Chief Minister Sukhu at its helm.
The committee, tasked with ensuring seamless coordination between the party and the government, includes notable figures such as Pratibha Singh, the President of Congress, Deupty CM Mukesh Agnihotri, Col Dhani Ram Shandil, along with Kaul Singh Thakur and Ramlal Thakur as members alongside Sukhu.
This development underscores the party's commitment to streamlining communication and collaboration within its ranks, with a focus on effective governance and cohesive decision-making.
The recent turmoil in Congress was exposed during Rajya Sabha elections in which Congress candidate Abhishek Manu Singhvi was defeated by BJP'S Harsh Mahajan that led to a big blow to party in which six Congress MLAs were disqualified.
It remains to be seen how the committee takes up the task ahrad to quell the further storm in the party and the government keeping the angry and the aggrieved in good humor.
