SHIMLA: governor Shiv Pratap Shukla flagged off relief vehicles carrying essential supplies for flood-affected areas in Mandi district.

The Governor expressed solidarity with the affected people, acknowledging the significant loss of life and property.

He commended the efforts of the State Government, District Administration, and rescue agencies.

The Ministry of Home Affairs is closely monitoring the situation and providing immediate relief. The Governor urged everyone to contribute to the Disaster Relief Fund, and he himself donated one month's salary. Additional relief material from the Red Cross will be provided soon, he said .
