Shimla: Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired the 106th meeting of the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) Board of Directors, focusing on the promotion of Greenfield and Emerging technologies for effective governance. He urged the department to support projects utilizing Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Highlighting HPSEDC's financial achievements, the Chief Minister announced a net profit of Rs. 8.16 crores and a total revenue exceeding Rs. 200 crores for the fiscal year 2022-23. This significant milestone marks a historic success for the corporation, showcasing its financial strength and profitability.
Chief Minister Sukhu also commended HPSEDC's full automation of operations, making all processes online. Notably, the corporation paid dividends to the government for the first time, with Rs. 74.33 lakh handed over for FY 2022-23.
Additionally, the Board of Directors contributed Rs. 21 lakh to the Aapda Rahat Kosh for disaster relief and community welfare.
The meeting, presided over by Managing Director Mukesh Repaswal, saw the presence of key officials, including Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ashish Butail, Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena, and others.
