Shimla- Rural development and panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh said it was under former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh's vision, a Giri drinking water scheme worth Rs 30 crores is being constructed for 12 Panchayats in Koti-Junga.
Construction is underway, and an additional 12 crore has been allocated for large tanks. The ITI building in Junga is almost ready and will be inaugurated soon, he said whole addressing public meeting in Junga and other places.
He said work on the Junga-Koti road, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, will be completed soon.
The old Junga roads will be widened, drains will be made. The construction of a lift irrigation scheme for the Junga area, costing Rs 6 crores is also in progress, he said.
Minister said the visit marks a step towards development in the Kasumpti assembly constituency, ensuring that every village's problems are addressed and resolved.
