Manali, Feb 28:
Paying a heartfelt tribute to the late Anil Khullar, a widely respected and compassionate figure of the Kullu–Manali region, a free voluntary blood donation camp will be organised on Saturday, February 28, from 10 am onwards at Baragarah Resort and Spa IHCL SeleQtion, Ghurdour, Manali.
The camp is being held on the first death anniversary of Anil Khullar, remembered for his humane values, social concern and commitment to the welfare of society. The initiative aims to transform remembrance into meaningful action by promoting the spirit of service and compassion through blood donation—often described as the greatest gift of life.
Speaking on the occasion, his son Nakul Khullar, the organiser of the camp, said, “My father always believed that true tribute lies in helping others. Through this blood donation camp, we wish to carry forward his values of service and sensitivity. A single unit of blood can save a life, and there can be no greater homage to his memory.”
He appealed to residents, social workers and especially the youth of the region to participate in large numbers and make the initiative a success.
He says the camp will not only help meet critical medical needs but also strengthen the collective resolve to serve humanity.
Participation would be both a life-saving act for those in need and a collective respect to the departed soul.
