ITBP Himveers at Himalayan heights

These brave soldiers, stationed in some of the harshest and most challenging terrains, have long stood as sentinels, ensuring India's borders remain secure.

In a grand celebration held at the North-West Frontier, Leh, the event saw a powerful display of March Past, Krav Maga demonstrations, and trophy presentations.

The Inspector General of ITBP, Shri Clay Khongsai, IPS, presided over the event, honoring the grit and determination of the Himveers.

Special guest Padma Shri Sonam Palzor added to the significance of the day, joining in saluting the brave personnel.

Meanwhile, at COB Dhanora, the Director General of ITBP, Shri Rahul Rasgotra, IPS, addressed a spirited gathering at the Sainik Sabha.

He lauded the force for its indomitable spirit and tireless commitment to guarding the nation’s most treacherous borders.

His words were a reminder of the countless sacrifices made by these brave warriors, who, undeterred by the bitter cold or rugged terrain, remain vigilant.

The Northeast Frontier celebrations were equally grand, with Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K. T. Parnaik gracing the occasion.

His inspiring speech acknowledged the ITBP's unparalleled bravery and work ethic, emphasizing the Himveers’ contributions during not only border protection but also disaster rescue and relief operations.

Across the nation, the ITBP’s Raising Day brought citizens together in paying tribute to the personnel who have made the supreme sacrifice.

With a sense of pride and gratitude, the country reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Himveers who serve on the frontlines, battling harsh climates and hostile terrains to keep India safe.
