SHIMLA/CHANDIGARH: The newly elected Mandi Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut reported that she was struck in the face by a CISF woman security guard during a security check at Chandigarh airport.

The incident occurred while Kangana was preparing to board a flight to Delhi.

Kangana assured her fans that she is safe but expressed her concerns over the incident, especially in light of the ongoing terrorism issues in Punjab.

"I'm safe, but this incident raises serious questions about security and how we are dealing with terrorism in Punjab," she remarked.

The CISF personnel involved, Kulwinder Kaur, defended her actions, citing a controversial statement made by Kangana about the farmers' protests.

"She said the farmers are sitting there for ₹100. Will she go and sit there?

My mother was protesting when she made that statement," Kaur explained, justifying her reaction.

Fans of Kangana were quick to express their outrage, condemning the guard's actions and demanding immediate action.

The incident has sparked a heated debate, adding yet another chapter to Kangana's often tumultuous interactions with public and security personnel.
