 The projects, unveiled during the International Shivratri Fair at the historic Paddal ground, include the Sub-Tehsil Katola building constructed at Rs. 1.72 crores, and the Civil Hospital Rewalsar at Rs. 5.20 crores.

He initiated the construction of eight flood control projects by the Jal Shakti Department, totaling Rs. 27 crore, aimed at enhancing safety in the Dharampur area.

These projects entail channelization work around several key water bodies.

The Chief Minister also laid the groundwork for the upgradation of Madhi-Sandhol and Dharampur-Sandhol, each costing Rs. 11 crore.

Furthermore, a 230-meter double span Behari Pattan Bridge, valued at Rs. 28 crore, is set to enhance connectivity in the region.

In line with infrastructure development, Sukhu inaugurated the upgradation work of Gaagal to Simas road under the third phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, allocated Rs. 5.47 crore for its completion.

Seraj Congress leader and Chairperson of Congress Vichar Vibhag Vijaypal Singh said the Chief Minister has paced up the development works in Mandi district and bailed the region out from the natural disaster that had hit the area badly last year.
