BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, stating that despite issuing guarantees worth ₹1 lakh crore and taking a loan of ₹27,000 crore, there has been no development in the state.
Accusing the Congress of betrayal, he said, "Congress misled the public with promises. Instead of fulfilling them, they’ve set a new example of how to backtrack after making guarantees."
Dr. Bindal specifically targeted Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, saying, "The CM says one thing inside the Assembly and another outside. Citing poor economic conditions, they’ve hiked electricity rates, stopped free water services, increased stamp duty, and closed schools and offices. This government is only trying to confuse the public with its web of numbers, but the people are no longer fooled by their tricks."
He further quoted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, "The direction of the state and country should be right, but it's no secret which direction Himachal is heading under Congress rule."
Dr. Bindal was accompanied by senior BJP leader Vipin Singh Parmar, Dharamshala MLA Sudhir Sharma, Kangra MLA Pawan Kajal, and former minister Sarveen Chaudhary.
