This campaign, which runs throughout the entire month of November, encompasses 500 locations in 100 cities, with the goal of reaching out to approximately 50 lakh pensioners.

What makes this initiative noteworthy is the extensive collaboration involving 17 pension disbursing banks, various ministries and departments, pensioners' welfare associations, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

This collective effort reflects a 'Whole of Government' approach, where all relevant stakeholders are working together to ensure the success of the campaign.

The Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 2.0 is set to simplify the process of obtaining life certificates for pensioners, making it more convenient and efficient.

This innovative approach will not only benefit pensioners but also help government agencies in managing pension disbursements more effectively.
