The injured ones, were shifted with the help of locals and police to the local hospital for treatment, where they are reported to be safe.
The victims have been identified as Sita Devi, her husband Sunil Kant, their daughter Krishna, Milap Chand Driver and Arti Devi. The victims came from Uthargan,
The local administration has given Rs 25000 each to the next of kin of the accident victims.
"The Government stands by the family in this hour of sorrow and directions have been issued to the district administration to provide immediate relief to the families of victims", said the Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.
He wished speedy recovery of the injured and directed the hospital authorities to provide best possible treatment to them.
