According to the police spokesperson, these 61 accused include 21 middle men, 03 parents or relatives of candidates and 37 candidates, who had appeared in the test.
They have been chargesheeted under Sections 420, 120 B, 201 of IPC in the paper leak case.
Interestingly the maximum number of accused are from Mandi district, home district of Chief Minister, followed by Hamirpur. There is no accused from Shimla, Kangra, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts in this chargesheet.
The police had lodged the FIR on 07.05.2022 under sections 420, 120B, 201 IPC.
