According to the police, the police searched  41 units of pharma in Himachal’s industrial corridor. Out of this, the police have slapped notices to 2 units.

The police say they have  adopted the Zero tolerance policy towards the illegal drugs  to stem  the menace in Himachal Pradesh.

For the prevention of drugs in the state, the state government has constituted an anti-narcotics task force which is continuously working for the prevention of drugs.

The Anti-Narcotics Task Force is using drug free Himachal app and toll free helpline no. 1908 to provide information about drug traffickers  by  the  general public  to catch drug smugglers.

The police say the public can give secret  information to police on this number without giving his identity.

Apart from this, the anti-narcotics task force is making  the general public aware  about  the ill effects of drugs  through an awareness campaign. At present,  Pradhav campaign is being run in which suggestions related to tackling the problem of drug addiction are being taken from school / college students.

Winners who give good suggestions will be rewarded.

Students from   16 to 25 years of age  can participate in it.

The last date for registration is 14 April 2023.
