SHIMLA:  Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) Employees Joint Coordination Committee met with Managing Director Shri Rohan Chand Thakur to press for the regularisation of employees who have completed two years of service.

The committee, led by President Shri Maan Singh and comprising Vice President Shri Khem Chand, Secretary Shri Khemendra Gupta, Treasurer Shri Jagdish Chand, and several other members, presented their demands to the MD.

During the meeting, the committee emphasized the need for immediate action to regularise the employees' services.

They also raised various other concerns affecting the workforce. Shri Thakur assured the committee that a formal meeting would be held before July 25 to discuss their demands in detail.

He confirmed that employees who had completed their two-year contractual period would soon be regularised.

They informed the MD that employees who joined HRTC before 2006 should be  regularised as per court orders, and those who had not approached the court would also be regularised from their date of joining.

The committee expressed their satisfaction with the MD's assurances and looked forward to the upcoming meeting to address their concerns.
