Shravan Manta, a 2008-batch HAS officer, was elected President.
Shravan, who currently serves as the Managing Director of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank, took on his new role after the association’s Annual General Body meeting held on Saturday.
This meeting was conducted in a hybrid mode, combining both in-person and virtual participation.
Joining Shravan in the leadership team is Prashant Sirkek, who was elected General Secretary.
Prashant, who is presently serving as the Additional Director at the Himachal Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), will work alongside Shravan to advance the goals of the association.
The HAS Officers Association is a registered body dedicated to the welfare and career progression of HAS officers, ensuring they receive proper service conditions and playing a consultative role to improve service standards.
According to the association, HAS officers have been crucial in the state's development, and their efforts, especially during disasters, have been commendable.
Last year, they collectively contributed over Rs 20 lakh to aid disaster relief efforts.
