 The accident happened around 6:30 PM near Chambi when a car (HP 08 A 4595) heading towards Jhina lost control and plunged off the road.

According to sources, Ramkrishna Sharma and Surjeet Kalsaik were killed in the accident. Both were residents of Badlawag  village. Reports suggest that Ramkrishna Sharma owned a grocery shop in Chambi.

As soon as the incident was reported, the Chopal police station team reached the spot and initiated rescue operations.

Local police  stated that the bodies have been recovered and sent to Civil Hospital Chopal for further procedures.

The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the accident.

Police   confirmed the incident and assured that a thorough investigation is underway.
