UKCM Dhami Talking to Media in Dehradun

Dehradun:

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday said he would personally speak to the parents of Ankita Bhandari and assured that the state government would take every step required to ensure justice in the case.

Talking to media persons, the Chief Minister said whatever Ankita’s family seeks for justice, the government is ready to act accordingly. “I will talk to Ankita’s parents. For justice, whatever they want, we will do that,” Dhami said.

He also acknowledged the role played by people across the state, stating that public participation on the issue has been sensitive and responsible. “People have shown maturity and sensitivity while raising this issue,” the Chief Minister added.

Meanwhile, amid growing pressure and sustained public demand, the case is steadily moving towards a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe.

Whether acknowledged officially or not, sources indicate that the mysterious death case of Ankita Bhandari is increasingly being seen as fit for a central investigation, given its gravity and public concern.

The Ankita Bhandari case has continued to evoke strong reactions across Uttarakhand, with repeated calls for transparency, accountability and a fair probe to bring the guilty to justice.
