Shimla: The new executive committee of the Shimla Ice Skating Club has been formed.
Following the club’s Annual General Meeting held on Sunday, elections were conducted for the post of President.
In a closely contested election, Manpreet Singh Senbi emerged victorious, securing 96 votes.
His nearest rival, Abhay Dogra, received 80 votes and finished second.
For the other posts, only one nomination was filed for each, resulting in the candidates being elected unopposed.
Rajat Malhotra has been elected as the Secretary, Pankaj Prabhakar as the Joint Secretary, and Ramnik Goyal as the Treasurer.
Additionally, Jaidev Sharma, Sudeep Mahajan, Chetan Sood, Arjun Kuthiala, and Pawan Verma have been elected as Executive Members of the club.
