Amit Shah Slams Congress, Touts BJP Achievements in Himachal Rallies... He threw Scam bombs without naming and specifying the charges...
Hamirpur/Kangra: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, in a fiery address in Hamirpur and Kangra, ripped into the Congress for alleged corruption and broken promises, while praising the BJP's development efforts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shah accused the Congress of a massive ₹12 lakh crore scam and INDI Alliance leaders are dreaming of becoming PM, without specifying and substantiating the charge of scam.
Shah charged that HP CM has turned Himachal Pradesh into an "ATM for the Gandhi family."
"The Congress misappropriated ₹3,200 crore sent by the central government for disaster relief," he charged, calling the party known for scandals and failing to deliver on promises.
Highlighting the BJP's achievements, Shah said, "Modi Ji has developed the country by 100% and Himachal by 150%. We've built roads, expanded railways, and provided gas connections and toilets to millions.
In Himachal alone, we completed the Atal Tunnel, started the Parbat Mala Project, and boosted investments in infrastructure."
He didn't hold back on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi either. "After June 4, Rahul Gandhi will blame the EVMs for his loss and probably head off to Bangkok. Meanwhile, Modi Ji has spent every Diwali with our soldiers, without taking a single day off," Shah said.
He praised Anurag Thakur's contributions, including key infrastructure projects like the ₹10,000 crore Keeratpur-Nahar Chowk road and the ₹2,000 crore drug park. "Anurag has not only focused on his constituency but also aligned the youth with BJP's ideology," Shah said.
Shah took a swipe at Congress' promises, claiming none had been fulfilled. "They promised ₹1500 to women, 5 lakh jobs, and 300 units of free electricity. None of it happened. The Congress government even embezzled disaster relief funds," he asserted.
Boasting about Modi's clean record, Shah said, "While Congress leaders are embroiled in scams, Modi Ji's 23 years in power have been free of corruption allegations. This election is about choosing development over dishonesty."
Shah also touched on national security, pointing out the success of the abrogation of Article 370 and the surgical strikes against Pakistan.
"Under Modi Ji, terrorism has been crushed. Unlike the Congress, which remained silent during frequent bomb blasts, we responded decisively," he said.
He ended with a call to action, urging voters to support the BJP's double-engine government. "Development is in BJP's DNA. Let's ensure a resounding victory for Modi Ji and our candidates in Himachal," he concluded.
