SHIMLA: Former Pradesh Adhyaksh and Member of Parliament Suresh Kashyap, representing the Shimla parliamentary constituency, filed his nomination today.
Speaking at a rally in Shimla, Kashyap praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, highlighting his contribution to elevating India's global standing.
He criticized the opposition Congress for its singular focus on opposing the BJP rather than supporting development initiatives.
Kashyap noted the substantial funds allocated to Himachal Pradesh by the central government for various projects.
He mentioned milestones such as the completion of AIIMS Bilaspur and the commencement of classes at IIIT Una.
He also highlighted the inauguration of highway projects worth around ₹4000 crore by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. Kashyap emphasized the need for Congress to change its perspective for Himachal's progress to be evident, pointing out significant allocations for projects in the Shimla parliamentary constituency.
