DEHRA(KANGRA) - Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu declared his commitment to the development of Dehra and announced the construction of an International Zoological Park in the area. The project is expected to be completed within three years, providing employment opportunities for local youths
Additionally, the government will focus on promoting adventure tourism at Pong Lake, allocate funds for the introduction of hot air balloon activities and a floating hotel, and support the youth by providing financial assistance to purchase Shikaras. The Chief Minister also mentioned the opening of a Central University, the operation of new bus routes, the construction of healthcare facilities and an indoor stadium in the Dehra assembly constituency, and various welfare schemes for orphan children, widows, and single women.
