BJP has combined the opening of the OPDS of All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), Bilaspur with the "celebration of cent per cent vaccination of its eligible population" at Bilaspur, the home town of BJP chief Jagat Prakash Nadda to make this mega show as a game changer ahead of the coming polls”.

This institute will provide tertiary health care services to the people of the state. In due course of time, the 750-beded hospital will have 15-20 super specialties when all the three phases will be complete.
BJP has sought to turn this “mega AIIMS Bilaspur event” into an engine of publicity of its good governance” as the institute has started within a short period of three years. The achievement of vaccination target has made Himachal as one of the leading states in India to do so.
