APG University, CTPL Next Gen Ink MoU for Industry-Aligned Courses
SHIMLA: APG University, Shimla, on Wednesday signed an MoU with CTPL Next Gen to roll out industry-focused courses in emerging technologies.
The collaboration will introduce programs like B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cyber Security, designed to boost students’ employability with practical exposure and live projects.
Dr. Sanjay Sharma, Associate Vice President, CTPL Next Gen, said the partnership aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with “practical knowledge and industry-ready skills.”
Vice Chancellor of APG University hailed the move as a step towards preparing students for global competition.
“Subjects like AI, Data Science, and Cyber Security will open up new opportunities for our students with the technical backing of CTPL Next Gen,” he said.
The MoU also paves the way for industry expert lectures, workshops, and hands-on training, strengthening the technical talent pool of Himachal Pradesh and beyond.
