SHIMLA: The High Court of Himachal Pradesh in Shimla has issued a notification announcing a series of transfers and postings within the H.P. Judicial Service cadre of District Judges and Additional District Judges, effective immediately.

1. Sh. Davinder Kumar, formerly District and Sessions Judge in Kullu, assumes the role of District and Sessions Judge (Forests) in Shimla.
2. Sh. Yogesh Jaswal, previously serving as Presiding Officer at the Labour Court-cum-Industrial Tribunal in Shimla, transitions to the position of Principal Judge at the Family Court in Mandi.
3. Sh. Vikas Bhardwaj moves from District and Sessions Judge in Hamirpur to Kullu.
4. Sh. Bhuvnesh Awasthi shifts from District and Sessions Judge in Una to Hamirpur.
5. Sh. Rajeev Bali leaves his post as Director of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy in Shimla to become the District and Sessions Judge in Kangra at Dharamshala.
6. Sh. Jaswant Singh moves from District and Sessions Judge (Forests) in Shimla to Chamba.

27. Ms. Gurmeet Kaur shifts from Additional District and Sessions Judge in Fast Track Special Court (POCSO) in Solan to Fast Track Special Court (Rape & POCSO) in Sirmaur at Nahan.
The notification also includes specific instructions regarding the joining dates for various officers, with some expected to join by June 3, 2024, and others before May 10, 2024, in light of an upcoming Lok-Adalat.
According to notification, the officer at Serial No. 17 will not receive TA/DA, as the transfer was made upon request.
