Three Judges Take Oath at Himachal Pradesh High Court

Shimla, August 30: Shri Chirag Bhanu Singh on Sunday took oath as a Judge of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, while Shri Bhupesh Sharma and Shri Yogesh Jaswal were sworn in as Additional Judges for a two-year term.

The oath was administered by the Governor of Himachal Pradesh at a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Shimla, in the presence of the Chief Justice of the High Court Sh M S Sandhawalia.

Chirag Bhanu Singh, a former District and Sessions Judge, has had a distinguished judicial career, including serving as Registrar (Judicial-I) in the Supreme Court twice. Bhupesh Sharma, who served as Registrar General of the Himachal Pradesh High Court since October 2024, has held several key judicial positions across the state.

Yogesh Jaswal, who was serving as District and Sessions Judge, Sirmaur at Nahan, has also served as Registrar of the High Court and Director of the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy.

The ceremony was attended by senior judges, state ministers, judicial officers, members of the Bar and other dignitaries.
