Kullu: The two passengers were killed and over 6 others were injured when an HRTC bus they were travelling rolled down at Traihan Mor in Bhuntar, Kullu district today. The bus on its way from Narogi to Bhuntar, met with the unfortunate accident at the Curve on the road.
CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu immediately contacted the Deputy Commissioner of Kullu and instructed the provision of immediate ex-gratia grants to the families of the deceased.
He directed the DC to provide the injured receive the best medical care and wished them a speedy recovery.
In response to the CM's directives, the district administration promptly disburses Rs. 25,000 each to the next of kin of the deceased and Rs. 15,000 each to the injured as an initial relief measure.
CM Sukhu offers prayers to the Almighty, seeking peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to cope with this irreparable loss.
