SHIMLA: State Congress President and Mandi Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh has expressed concern over the threat made to the state in the audio tape of Khalistan supporter Gurpatwant Pannu sitting abroad. The state government should immediately take strict action on it and arrest him, she demanded.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, she said the sitting separatist is giving open challenge to the country and the state and the Central government are not able to do anything, which is very regrettable.
Interacting with the reporters here today, Pratibha Singh said the government should immediately come into action and wherever Pannu is and should be caught.
She said Pannu had threatened the state government sometime back also regarding Himachal Day, but the government did not take any prompt action even at that time. Now again the state has been threatened which is very condemnable, she stated.
She said that there is a great need for the government to be vigilant in this matter.
AAP should come clean on sources of its Funds
Pratibha Singh also questioned the funding being received by the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP should come clean on this as to where the money is coming to them. She expressed doubts that Pannu could have a bigger hand in this funding.
On the other hand, in response to a question, Pratibha Singh said that there will be a comprehensive discussion on the strength of the organization in the Nav Sankalp Chintan Shivir of the All India Congress Committee, which is going to be held in Udaipur.
She said the party would also deliberate on the assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat to be held later this year. Apart from this, there will also be brainstorming on the burning problems of the country at the national level, she said.
