Shocking 38% of IIT Graduates Unemployed in 2024: The Reality of Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat’.. Why INDI Alliance Fail to convert this enchantment among the youth into a political rebellion in the Lok Sabha elections...
The focus of election campaigns has failed to address real issues in this ongoing Lok Sabha 2024 elections.
While I support the construction of the Ram Mandir, the abrogation of Article 370, and the Uniform Civil Code, development is a continuous process that every government has advanced during its tenure.
Today, parties are vying for votes by promising free ration or ₹8,500 in women's accounts.
However, there are critical topics that should have been the focal point of electoral debates and need urgent attention: the growing population, inflation, and unemployment.
The rising population is the root cause of both inflation and unemployment, but no party is clearly stating its stance on this issue.
Inflation is often dismissed as a global problem, and no party seems to have a clear roadmap to tackle unemployment.
In this context, a report from a prestigious daily is quite alarming: this year, 38% of IIT graduates did not secure employment.
This is unprecedented, as previously, securing admission to an IIT was almost a guarantee of a good job.
The only difference was in the pay packages, ranging from ₹60 lakhs to ₹3 crores annually.
According to the report, this year, even a job offering ₹50,000 per month is hard to come by, leading to widespread despair among the youth.
The situation shows no signs of improvement due to the global economic slowdown.
Completing an IIT degree is not easy, and being unemployed after such an arduous journey is extremely disheartening.
The newspaper points out that some sectors that used to generate employment are shrinking.
In my opinion, it will be decided on June 4 which coalition will form the government.
Regardless, the new government will belong to everyone and must rise above party politics to address the core problems of the country.
It must implement effective measures to control inflation, take significant steps to eradicate unemployment, and enact laws to control the growing population.
For now, this is the pressing situation.
