DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and his team of eight ministers, who assumed office in Dehradun yesterday, are all ‘Clean Crorepatis with liabilities” as per their declarations submitted to the Election Commission of India.
According to their declaration, Dhami’s team of ministers have declared no criminal cases against themselves, revealed the report by Association of Democratic Reforms and Uttarakhand Election Watch, which was released to the media today.
All the nine ministers including Dhami and his team of ministers, who were selected by the BJP high command, have declared that they are all Crorepatis, but liabilities to pay. The average assets of 9 ministers analysed is Rs 16.00 crores, ADR report found.
The minister with the highest declared total assets is Satpal Maharaj from Chaubattakhal constituency with assets worth Rs. 87.34 crores. On the other hand, the minister with the lowest declared total assets is Chandan Ram Dass from Bageshwar (SC) constituency with assets worth Rs. 1.24 crores.
As far as liabilities are concerned six ministers have declared liabilities out of which the minister with the highest liabilities is Subodh Unniyal of Narendranagar constituency with Rs. 1.03 crores of liabilities. The two ministers have declared their educational qualification to be between 10th and 12th standard, while seven others said they are graduate or above.
Dhami’s ministry is a mix of old guards and new turk. As many as four ministers have declared their age to be between 41 and 60 years while five other said they are between 61 and 70 years. There is one woman minister, Rekha Arya in the Dhami’s cabinet.
