SHIMLA: As many as 412 candidates are in fray  on 68 assembly constituencies for the 14th Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha elections  to be held on November 12.   As many as 92  candidates  withdrew their names on Saturday, the last day of withdrawal.

The Main contest has turned out to be between ruling BJP and the opposition Congress, while presence of AAP, BASP on all seats and independents have confused the voters.

Secondly, the presence of rebels on over a dozen seats have marred the prospectus of the official candidates of BJP and Congress  on those seats.
