Health Minister Dr. Col. Dhani Ram Shandil and Lok Sabha MP Pratibha Singh paid a visit to the Institute for Children with Special Abilities in Dhali
Their purpose was to engage with the children and bring them joy, as they distributed gifts and fruits during their visit. During the event, Dr. Shandil took a moment to honor the late former Chief Minister, Late Virbhadra Singh, on his death anniversary. He spoke highly of Raja Virbhadra Singh's commitment to public service throughout his life.
Dr. Shandil also highlighted the implementation of the Sukh Ashray Yojana, a scheme introduced by the state government in their first cabinet meeting.
This initiative aims to support underprivileged students and destitute women in pursuing higher education, providing them with opportunities for a dignified life. The state government has established the Sukh Ashraya Sahayata Kosh to facilitate this endeavor.
Pratibha Singh, State Congress President, joined in remembering Raja Virbhadra Singh's contributions and mentioned his previous visits to the institute. The children delighted the visitors with cultural performances, adding to the joyful atmosphere of the event.
