Shimla-  Himachal Pradesh government’s Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgaar Yojana-2023 (RGSY-2023)  has been targeted to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among local youth.

Chief Minister, Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu envisions a brighter future through self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Besides this, Scheme focuses on Green Field Projects, paving the way for innovation and sustainable industrial growth, says government spokesperson here today.

Eligible youth, aged 18 to 45, to receive incentives and concessions for setting up new industrial enterprises.

It provides for Investment subsidy of 25% up to Rs. 60 lakh for plant and machinery; 50% for e-taxis, e-trucks, e-buses, and e-tempo travelers.

It gives Financial assistance of Rs. 10 crore allocated for seamless implementation of the scheme.

Applicants must submit a common form on the RGSY Portal, commencing commercial production within two years.

RGSY-2023 aims to create job opportunities, boost economic growth, and support sustainable development in Himachal Pradesh, says the government.
