Shimla- HP State Government has recently implemented new guidelines for postings and transfers of government employees in different departments.
The decision was made in response to the medical fraternity's discontent over the mass transfer of 13 doctors, primarily from IGMC Shimla to Dr RPGMC Tanda.
Under the new guidelines, all matters concerning postings and transfers of government employees will be presented during the last four working days of each month.
This timeline allows for effective consideration by Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The spokesperson emphasized that the review and finalization of these matters would take place exclusively during these four working days.
Additionally, approved orders of postings and transfers will only be issued by the respective departments during the last four working days of the month. Except for exceptional circumstances, such matters will not be entertained during the remaining days of the month.
The guidelines are applicable not only to the State Government but also to all Boards and Corporations under its jurisdiction.
