SHIMLA: State Government has notified the timeline for applying for NOC for opening of new nursing institutions, enhancement of seats, starting of new nursing courses in the existing nursing institutes in private sector under preferred and non-preferred locations in the state for the session 2022-23.

 A spokesperson of the Health Department informed here today  that essentiality-cum-feasibility certificate/NOC of the government can be obtained now as per timeline. The applicants can submit offline proposals to the Directorate of Medical Education and Research from 1^st February to 15^th March, 2022. Scrutiny of proposals by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research would be done from 16^th March to 15^th April.

Inspection of the institutes by the Sub-Divisional Level Inspection Committee and submission of the inspection report to the Directorate of Medical Education and Research would be done from 16^th April to 31^st May. Evaluation of the inspection reports by the Directorate level Evaluation Committee and further submission of the proposals to the Government would be done from 1^st June to 31^st July, 2022.
