In its bid to counter India’s plan of tapping the cutting -edge drone technology to outmaneuver the enemies across the borders mainly in the high altitude Himalayan region along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) China military today has flashed the “picture of its J-20 jet drone match-up for combat edge in the sky”, reported a south China paper today, flashing pictures of the drone-jet in the sky.
This “flashing of j-20 jet drone match- up for combat” exercise by China is being viewed as a “counter confidence building exercise for PLA deployed along the LAC with India.
India has announced its drone and artificial intelligence mission recently in Northeast showcasing its might of drone technology in IIT, Assam warranting worldwide attention.
In view of the new military developments taking place along the LAC in Ladakh and Northeast region for the last three years, India has stepped up both surveillance and deployment along the borders to outmaneuver China keeping the Chinese on toes, sources in the know of the matter said.
This could be China's PLA propaganda machineries handiwork as India is watching all developments very closely with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserting that not even a single inch of India's land will be allowed to be intruded by the enemies, let alone occupying it the sources added.
Quoting a PLA pilot as saying, “unmanned aerial vehicles can do what humans cannot endure extreme for long. US military tandem test hints at future warfare with mother ships keeping out of enemy range while drones fly into the danger for intelligence and combat missions, the newspaper reports said, quoting China’s state media.
Quoting the state broadcaster CCTV, the paper further states, “China was hinting at a potential pairing of the its most advanced aircraft, J-20 with drones in tandem strategy that would expand Beijing’s combat capabilities”.
There are also media reports in India saying that the some illegal enclave has come up near the disputed borders along the LAC in Arunachal Pradesh showing satellite images of September 2021. The Indian strategists are keeping a watch on the developments along the LAC, sources said.
The Minister for state for Civil Aviation Gen VK Singh, who opened the drone technology hub in IIT Guwahati in Assam last week had declared that the drone technology has opened up a new era in India.
Besides this, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had also visited the Northeast few days ago to supervise the latest developments in the region, sources said.
