Congress trounced BJP by is 4-0 in Himachal bypolls on four seats- Mandi Lok sabha, three assembly seats in Jubbal-Kotkhai, Arki and Fatehpur.
Congress' Pratibha Singh trounced BJP's Kargil war hero Brig Kushal Singh Thakur wresting Mandi Lok sabha seat from the BJP.
Congress Rohit Thakur wrested Jubbal-Kotkhai assembly seat from the BJP defeating BJP rebel Chetan Bragta by a margin of 6293 votes. BJP Neelam Saraik lost her deposits getting just 2644 votes.
The seat was vacated after the death of BJP leader Narender Bragta. BJP denied ticket to Bragta's son Chetan Bragta, who contested as an independent.
Congress Bhawani Singh Pathania trounced BJP Baldev Thakur by a margin of 5789 votes, revealed election officers.
In Arki, Congress Sanjay Awasthi defeated BJP's Rattan Singh Pal, thereby retaining the Arki seat which were vacated after the death of the six time Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.
