BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Sunday said the Rs 2000 crore AIIMS, Bilaspur will be ready fully for public service by June, 2022 and Himachal has become India’s first state with cent per cent vaccination today. These are the shining examples of Prime Minister Narendar Modi’s abled leadership, which delivers, stands out and makes a big difference in style of governance in comparison with the previous regime, Nadda said, without naming any party and leader.
Addressing the public meeting at Bilaspur, Nadda, who is also a Rajya Sabha MP, fervently urged people to make a distinction between the leadership they have known and experienced in last 70 years and they are experiencing today under Prime Minister Modi at the centre and Jai Ram Thakur in Himachal.
Nadda sets a ground for the positive politics of development for BJP's opponents in Himachal. He along with Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, Union Youth Affairs and Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandiviya did not name any opposition parties and leaders while they attacked the opposition at the public meeting after Nadda opened the OPDs services for the public at AIIMS Bilaspur at Kothipura, his dream project.
Rekha, a patient from Kullu became the first patient who was medically examined by Dr Kapil at inauguration of the OPDs of AIIMS today, a mega show which was screened live from 26 different places across the state to make a positive impact in public ahead of the coming 2022 assembly elections.
Nadda said AIIMS Bilaspur is not the only one such institution, there are 22 AIIMS under different stages of execution in the country, started by Prime Minister Narender Modi. AIIMS Bilaspur will be ready by June 2022 and Prime Minister will dedicate the health institution to public, he said.
Without naming the parties and opposition leaders, Nadda claimed the Modi government has accomplished in seven year time what the previous regimes could not do in 70 years. People of the country have got more than 127 crore doses of Made in India vaccines for free and they now move freely- a feat that has no parallel in the world even among the advanced countries, he claimed.
Nadda said Prime Minister has provided a leadership that kept life of people as a supreme priority under “Jaan Hai to Jahan Hai” and imposed lockdown to save them from the corona pandemic. He inspired scientists to manufacture India’s not only one but two vaccines, inspired doctors, nurses, frontline health workers in states for vaccinating people and saved their life and today India decides what even advanced countries like America and Europe cannot do, Nadda said.
Congratulating Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and people and doctors and health workers for vaccinating cent per cent of the targeted population, Nadda cited examples of how the previous regimes delayed availability of chicken pox, Tuberculosis, polio vaccines to people of India.
He claimed the previous leadership remained busy in misguiding public by enquiring about their “Bhains” and kept them busy in celebration of their birthdays. In contrast, the Atal and the Modi regimes accomplished works like Atal Tunnel and connected the villages with roads and set up Kol dam, built bridges and highways in a time frame, Nadda said.
Nadda said the time has come for people to recognize leaders who deliver and stand behind them and keep those out, who only talk and misguide people. “The awakened society needs to understand this”, he added.
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur gave credit of cent percent vaccination and AIIMS Bilaspur to Prime Minister Narender Modi and Nadda. AIIMs is the greatest gift to people of Himachal who will now get the best health services. ASHA, anganvadi workers, health workers and doctors and nurses, health officials and public participated in the vaccination campaign and accomplished the task today, he said.
Thakur said the vaccination teams braved all odds and covered hard areas by going place to place. “DC Kangra led the team and airlifted the vaccines to Bada Bhanghal to vaccinate 150 people there in the last leg. The vaccines were also airlifted to vaccinate people in Malana village in Kullu”, he said, explaining how this feat was accomplished in Himachal.
Jai Ram Thakur said Himachal is fully prepared for tackling any possible third wave of corona, for which the capacity of beds in hospitals has been increased from 3804 to 8765 and it would be increased to 11 thousand. The covid test has been made available in all the districts. RTPCR facility has been made available in all medical colleges and health institutions of all districts, he added.
Anurag Singh Thakur complimented the Jai Ram Thakur government's teams of frontline health workers and public for its cent per cent vaccination of targeted 53.77 lakh people, saying that this could be possible due to abled leadership provided by Prime Minister Narender Modi and his government at the centre.
Thakur said it was due to extra efforts put by Jagat Prakash Nadda, who joined party workers to the campaign and in a fight against corona. When Prime Minister was taking steps against Corona, opposition people used to laugh at and today India is leading the world”, he said.
Thakur said it was due to the efforts of the then health minister Nadda that Hamirpur constituency got six medical colleges including AIIMS at Bilaspur, which is also part of it.
Anurag Thakur said India has emerged as a role model for other countries. India has not even a single PPE kit made in the country and today it is manufacturing over 15 lakh PPE kits per day, exporting it to the several other countries.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the AIIMS is a biggest gift of Modi government to state and Himachal has shown the way to other states by vaccinating cent percent of its eligible population. Out of ten scientists in NASA, three scientists are Indian. Prime Minister recognised the power of the country and encouraged the scientists to develop its own vaccination against corona virus," he said.
Due to faith reposed by Prime Minister in Indian scientists, doctors and entrepreneurs, Mansukh said the medicines like azinomycin and rimedisphere manufactured in India are now being supplied to about 100 countries. Over 123 crore vaccine doses are being prepared in the country and even now being exported to other countries, he added.
The state health minister Dr Rajiv Saizel expressed his gratitude to the leaders thanking the entire teams of health department for achieving the task.
