Hamirpur- Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the new academic block at Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) Hamirpur, constructed at a cost of Rs. 25 crore.
He also announced Rs. 2 crore for the implementation of smart classrooms in Government College Hamirpur.
The Chief Minister emphasized the government's commitment to improving the education system, including the establishment of Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day-Boarding Schools in each assembly constituency.
The government is considering the inclusion of technical courses like artificial intelligence and machine learning in college curricula.
The state government has adopted 6,000 orphans as 'Children of the State,' covering their educational expenses and providing them with financial support.
The Chief Minister highlighted the government's efforts to enhance educational infrastructure and opportunities for students in the state. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including MLAs and local leaders.
