Shimla: Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN, presented a comprehensive strategy for the year 2024.
He touched upon SJVN's remarkable growth, emphasizing the commissioning of two pivotal projects – the 60 MW Naitwar Mori Hydro Power Station and the 75 MW Gurhah Solar Power Plant in 2023.
Sharma declared that SJVN's installed capacity now stands at an impressive 2227 MW, with a project portfolio surpassing 56000 MW. Notably, the company experienced unprecedented market capitalization growth, witnessing a threefold increase in share price throughout 2023 – a historic achievement for SJVN.
During the event, Sharma urged employees to concentrate on four key areas: maximizing power generation from operational projects, expediting under-construction projects, fast-tracking Survey & Investigation stage activities, and actively acquiring new projects.
This strategic approach, he emphasized, is pivotal to sustaining SJVN's ongoing success.
Accompanying Sharma were Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director (Personnel), and Sh. Akhileshwar Singh, Director (Finance). Smt. Kapur extended New Year wishes, urging everyone to contribute their best efforts to elevate SJVN as a leading entity in the power sector.
Sh. Singh highlighted SJVN's recent focus on renewable projects, particularly noting the operational initiation of the 75 MW Gurhah Solar Power Plant.
