SHIMLA/NEW DELHI: Shinam Azad, who hails from Kotkhai Shimla made headlines as she clinched the first runner-up title at the recent Mrs. India UMB pageant.
The pageant crowned Namrata Gupta the Mrs. India UMB 2024 winner.
This event, held in Delhi is designed to celebrate the empowerment, confidence, and diverse talents of married women from across the world.
Though such events nowadays abound in India but Shinam has become new darling of social media fans.
Organized by UMB, the pageant featured 43 contestants from seven countries and included rigorous rounds, such as the Talent, Traditional Wear, and Interview Rounds.
Participants also engaged in sessions on self-defense, wellness, and catwalk training, fostering a platform for self-expression and growth.
In addition to the main titles, there were 44 subtitle categories, reflecting the event’s commitment to celebrating multiple facets of the contestants' personalities and talents.
