SHIMLA- In a remarkable achievement, Vishal, son of a vegetable seller from Nurpur Ganoh in Kangra district, has become an assistant professor in political science.
The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission recently declared the result for the political science subject, with Vishal emerging victorious.
Coming from a humble background, Vishal's father used to run a vegetable vending business, and Vishal would often assist him whenever he had spare time.
Vishal's journey has been marked by struggles and hardships.
Despite their financial constraints, he managed to pursue his education, working as a caterer at wedding ceremonies during college and university holidays to support his studies and make ends meet.
His determination and dedication paid off when he cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exam three times and successfully completed his semesters.
Currently, Vishal is pursuing a Ph.D. at Shimla's Himachal Pradesh University under the guidance of his mentor, Dr. Sanjeev Bragta.
