Festive Fever with a Green Twist: 28th CII Chandigarh Fair Kicks Off today at Sector 17

Chandigarh, October 10

The city’s favourite pre-festive shopping carnival is back—bigger, brighter, and greener! The 28th edition of the CII Chandigarh Fair 2025 opens tiday at the Parade Ground, Sector 17, promising four days of shopping, food, and fun with a sustainable spin.

Organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Northern Region, the fair will run from October 10 to 13, between 10 AM and 8 PM, featuring over 300 exhibitors from 15 states across a sprawling 16,000 sqm area.

This year’s fair isn’t just about shopping—it’s about celebrating responsibly.

With themes like “Plastic-Free Chandigarh” and “Honk-Free City”, the event will champion green consumerism and civic awareness. Visitors can also learn life-saving CPR techniques, thanks to daily awareness sessions by the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Spread across six concurrent expos—Décor & Interiors, Fruits & Food, States of India, Auto Show, Lifestyle Expo, and Home Appliances—the fair has something for everyone.

From handcrafted treasures of Ladakh and West Bengal to furniture, organic foods, and the latest auto models from Hyundai, Maruti, Kia, and Isuzu, the choices are endless.

Leading brands like McCain, Cornitos, Bonn Foods, Bikanerwala, Himalaya Wellness, Baidyanath, Eureka Forbes, and Godrej will showcase their best offerings.

And of course, no Chandigarh fair is complete without its legendary multi-cuisine food court, serving everything from desi street eats to global bites.

The fair will be inaugurated at 1:30 PM on Friday, marking the start of a long weekend of shopping, savouring, and celebrating—this time, with a green conscience.
