SHIMLA : Tribal people from Kinnaur were made aware about their rights at a legal literacy campa held at Lingja in Kinnnaur, which was presided over by Justice Sabina, Acting Chief Justice, High Court of Himachal Pradesh.
This Legal Literacy Camp was organized by the District Legal Services Authority, Kinnaur under the aegis of Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority to make the people of tribal areas aware about their rights.
Member secretary HPSLA-cum-district and sessions judge Prem Pal Ranta said about 70 people participated in the camp held in the high altitude area of tribal Kinnaur district.
Justice Sabina, who is also an acting Chairperson, Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Shimla. also visited village legal care and support centre Langja in Kinnaur.
The camp made tribal people mainly women aware about their various rights guaranteed to them by Constitution of India.
The camp was held at the Highest location as far as legal services clinic is concerned, Ranta said.
