Chief Justice of the High Court Mr. Justice Mohammad Rafiq unfurled the National Flag and took the ceremonial salute of the contingent in the august presence of Judges of High Court including Ms. Justice Sabina, Mr. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Mr. Justice Vivek Singh Thakur, Mr. Justice Ajay Mohan Goel, Ms. Justice Jyotsna Rewal Dua and Mr. Justice Satyen Vaidya. The ceremony was followed by the National Anthem.
Joining the celebrations in the premises were also the Chairperson, Himachal Pradesh State Human Rights Commission, Justice P.S. Rana( retired Judge), Justice D.P. Sood (Retd), Ashok Sharma, Advocate General, Ajay Kochhar, Chairman Bar Council of H.P. and Lovneesh Kanwar, President High Court Bar association and other members of High Court Bar association.
Virender Singh, Registrar General High Court, Ajay Mehta, Registrar (Rules and Judges Branch), Madan Kumar, District & Sessions Judge (Leave/training reserve), Ms. Poonam Mahajan, Registrar (Estt), Hakikat Dhanda, central project coordinator and other officers and officials of the High Court Registry also joined the ceremony with fervour.
Susheel Kukreja, District & Sessions Judge, Shimla, Rajeev Bhardwaj, Principal Secretary (Law), Rajeev Bali, Director H.P. Judicial Academy, judicial officer posted at District Court Shimla and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
